BIOGRAPHY

"I don't need to reign supreme. All I need is sounds of ecstasy."

Corey Warning

Andrew Paonessa (Puh-ness-uh) was born December 22, 1985 in Warren, Michigan. He began his adventure into music at the age of six, when he began classical piano lessons in his hometown.

Throughout his academic career Andrew performed publicly through voice, piano, and guitar, seeking every available opportunity to further his experience and education in musical composition and performance. Andrew's quest for a professional career in music gained its strongest inspiration with the 2001 release of film director, Peter Jackson's three part production of J. R. R. Tolkien's epic tale, The Lord of the Rings. The soaring majesty of Howard Shore's powerful score captured Andrew's heart and inspired his application and acceptance to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in the spring of 2009. He graduated from Berklee in May of 2013 with a diploma in Film Scoring and a minor in Video Game Music.
